This report documents the status and condition of Fort Davis just a year before the sites approval as a unit of the National Park Service. Thirty-three individual structures, areas, or portions of structures in 28 numbered areas on the Ground Plan were examined, measured, and recorded at Fort Davis. The report estimates the cost of restoration, focusing primarily on the restoration of walls. The report found that a number of buildings lend themselves exceptionally well to restoration.
