This dataset represents fourteen years of forest vegetation monitoring (2006-2019) by the National Capital Region Network (NCRN) Inventory and Monitoring Program. Data was collected from 400+ forest plots randomly scattered throughout the NCRN. Each plot is visited once every 4 years. Data covers 3 NCRN Vital Signs: Forest Vegetation, Forest Pests and Diseases, and Exotic Invasive Plants. It includes data on the following categories: Trees, Saplings, Stems, Seedlings, Shrubs, Shrub Seedlings, Tree Sapling Conditions, Foliage Conditions, Vines, Herbs, Quadrat Conditions, Plot Floor, Coarse Woody Debris (CWD), and Tag History.
