Abstract of Historic Building Report: The Marshall's Court Row

Grossman C. 1958. Abstract of Historic Building Report: The Marshall's Court Row. Historic Structure Report. U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service

Independence National Historical Park preserves sites associated with the American Revolution and the nation's founding history in and around Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This report is the abstract/summary for a historic buildings report for the buildings on Marshall's Court Row. The report found that the buildings have no association with the event or personages of the historic period; the buildings are not architecturally important; their retention would contribute nothing to the interpretation or landscape of the Park; the buildings are undesirable as residences; and that the cost of their retention or conversion is prohibitive.
