This historic structures report concerns the Junglebrook Farm Group at Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Junglebrook Farm Group consists of three buildings: Saddle-back house (bldg. no. 464), Tub-Mill (bldg. no. 132), and Barn (bldg. no. 133). The group is located near the Cherokee Orchard Road approximately 1.9 miles inside the park boundary, and 2.8 miles southeast of downtown Gatlinburg. This group of buildings represents examples of log construction which once were common in this mountain region. The house itself is built of roughly hewn logs with saddle-notched joints, a field stone chimney laid in mud mortar. Roof of pole rafters covered with rived oak shingles.
