This report replaces the Architectural Data Section of the Historic Structures Report, Maud Noble Cabin and Outbuilding, Grand Teton National Park, prepared by Charles S. Pope, submitted January 1970, and withdrawn by the Chief, Office of Archeology and Historic Preservation on May 19, 1970. It has been revised and updated to include information supplied by the Historic Data Section and by subsequent field investigation. Included in this report are descriptions and photographs of historic conditions; descriptions, drawings and photographs of existing conditions; and recommend restoration and reconstruction activities necessary to restore the Maud Noble Cabin, its outbuildings and site to their historic appearances at the time of occupancy by Maud Noble and the meeting of July 26, 1923, when plans were confidentially formulated that resulted in the eventual establishment of the Grand Teton National Park. These structures are to be used to provide interpretation of the historic meetings held at the Menor's Ferry Complex which as proposed the establishment of Grand Teton National Park, and stated in the Master Plan to "bring back the setting to the period when the structures were at most historic significance."
