Rock Creek is in the Chickasaw National Recreational Area in Sulphur, Oklahoma and has a total length of 11 miles with a watershed of 44.1 . Rock Creek flows into the lake of the miles2 Arbuckle’s and is a tributary to the Washita river. Rock Creek is a perennial creek and is classified as warm-water. Readings and rapid bioassessment were taken downstream from the confluence of Rock Creek and Travertine Creek. It was a clear and sunny day with no heavy rain in the past 7 days.
