Historic Building Site Survey Report: Walsh & Bro. Store and the Stone House (Lot No. 10)

Snell CW. 1958. Historic Building Site Survey Report: Walsh & Bro. Store and the Stone House (Lot No. 10). Historic Structure Report. U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service

Harpers Ferry National Historical Park preserves historic resources and commemorates the historic events that occurred at and around Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. The park consists of portions of the Lower Town, the former Storer College campus, landscapes associated with the national historical park’s Civil War significance, and lands preserving the historic viewshed down the Potomac River. This historic building site survey report concerns the Walsh & Bro. Store and the Stone House (Lot No. 10) in the Lower Town area of Harpers Ferry. It is proposed that the entire Ferry Lot area be interpreted by means of trailside exhibits using some of the old prints and photographs contained in the Historic Building Report on Wager Lot No. 5.
