This Historic Structures Report concerns the Trading Post (HB-1) and Wareroom Extension (HB-9) at Hubbell Trading Post National Historic Site. The structure is itneded to be used as a museum, while retaining its function as an active trading post. HB-1 will be restored to its historic appearance, which will be museum-like in fabric, but still a functioning trading post. HB-9 will be used as a visitor contact station, which includes restrooms, exhibits, tour assembly, information station, and administration offices. Interpretation will be integrated with normal trading post activities and occasionally function simultaneously.
