This historic structure report discusses fire suppression for three historic structures located at Hubbell Trading Post National Historic Site. The structures are identified as follows: Trading Post HB-1 with adjoining Warehouse HB-9, and the Hubbell Home HB-2. The Trading Post and the Home, together with their furnishings, form the major significance of the historic site. The Warehouse adjoining the Trading Post currently houses the curatorial services, in addition to its uses as offices and maintenance functions for the site. Future development for this structure entails removing the maintenance and offices and restructuring the interior space for expanded curatorial services. The fire suppression systems design will be done in accordance with the National Park Service, Management Policies, Chapter V--Cultural Resource Management and Preservation, pages 26-27, Building and Fire Codes and Fire Detection and Suppression and standards for Rehabilitation and Guidelines for Rehabilitation Historic Buildings (36CFR 67).
