We carried out fieldwork in April, May, and June 2018, at the Chiricahua National Monument (CHRNM) and Fort Bowie National Historic Site (FBNHS) in southeastern Arizona. Year 2018 was the 19th year of an on-going project to monitor and inventory bats for the National Park Service (NPS), U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), Tucson Audubon Society (TAS), and the Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD). A total of 5 evenings were spent netting bats in the two parks at four different water sources. Seventy-two bats of 13 species were netted and data collected at CHRNM and FBNHS for 2018. The results of this study are presented in this final report. The report “Status and Trends of Bat Populations in SE Arizona: Analysis of a Long-Term Data Set and Recommendations for Future Monitoring” by Andrea R. Litt was reviewed and summarized.
