"The Production and Printing of 2011 Palauan and English Calendars project was successfully completed. Both calendars contained information such as pictures of registered sites, sites that are listed in the BAC Inventory, pictures of BAC programs and projects, and descriptions of the significance of a Palauan calendar year, etc. Fortunately with capability of office equipments on hand, the skilled staffs did the entire layout on their own and brought it to the printer for printing. Total of 205 calendars in Palauan language and 205 calendars in English language were printed. The main purpose of the calendar is to educate and inform the public about the importance and significance of the Palauan year, historical and cultural resources of Palau as well as preservation program activities." Project funding was provided in part by a Historic Preservation Fund grant to the Bureau of Arts and Culture, Palau Historic Preservation Office, administered by the Pacific West Regional Office, National Park Service, U.S. Department of Interior (grant number 70-09-21863).
