"Bilingual media education in Samoan and English educates the community about historic preservation and economic development through heritage tourism. The community is informed of the location and importance of the American Samoa Historic Preservation Office (ASHPO). The public's input was used for ASHPO 5 Year Plan and American Samoa's Economic Development Plan through the Department of Commerce." Project funding was provided in part by a Historic Preservation Fund grant to the American Samoa Historic Preservation Office, Executive Offices of the Governor, administered by the Pacific West Regional Office, National Park Service, U.S. Department of Interior (grant number P16AF00199).
