Minute Man National Historical Park protects 970 acres in and around the Massachusetts towns of Lexington, Lincoln, and Concord, commemorating the opening battle in the American Revolutionary War. This Historic Structures Report concerns the history of the Major John Buttrick House (Building No. 42). It is proposed that the exterior be restored to its 1775 appearance with whatever later period additions or changes are recommended following architectural investigation. The interior is to be remodeled for quarters.
