From the preface: "This 2019 calendar was published by the Bureau of Cultural & Historical Preservation/Historic Preservation Program under the Ministry of Community and Cultural Affairs. The information contain herein is abstract from Rechuodel Volume I by the Society of Historians (1995). The goal is to promote and education the public about the traditional calendar year of Palau and how it relates to the modern calendar. It also promotes preservation and protection of Cultural and Historical Heritage of the Republic of Palau. This 2019 calendar is featuring cultural and historical properties and BCHP's activities regarding Palau's heritage."
