Minute Man National Historical Park protects 970 acres in and around the Massachusetts towns of Lexington, Lincoln, and Concord, commemorating the opening battle in the American Revolutionary War. This Historic Structures Report concerns the Joshua Brooks House (Building Number LIN-9). The report was being prepared in advance of the historical data report, as it was felt that a survey of existing structures in their present condition would be an asset in planning their individual use within the park. The report recommends that once the use of the structure within park developed is determined, further architectural investigation be undertaken. Primary emphasis will have to be placed on the exterior and the first and second floor interior rear room. It is recommended that architecture features existing in 1775 be identified for purposes of the proposed restoration.
