Minute Man National Historical Park protects 970 acres in and around the Massachusetts towns of Lexington, Lincoln, and Concord, commemorating the opening battle in the American Revolutionary War. The purpose of this report is to acquire, interpret, and prepare in usable form all available documentation about Captain David Brown's House. The report is intended to be useful as a guide to archeological work, a source of information for interpretation, and to document the historical base map. The conclusion of the report states that documentary evidence suggests very strongly that the Bicentennial map has the correct location of Brown's house, and the remains of other buildings might be found near the site if the area is excavated.
