Independence National Historical Park preserves sites associated with the American Revolution and the nation's founding history in and around Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This Historic Structures Report concerns the structural rehabilitation of the Independence Hall steeple. The present steeple at Independence Hall dates entirely from the 1828 reconstruction carried out under the direction of Architect William Strickland.
