The main components of this research study are: (1) conduct preliminary literature review on snowbed plant communities and potential impacts to these communities under a changing climate; (2) the establishment of a methodology to track rare and endemic species, as well as other vegetation, in these snowbed communities; (3) the installation of plots at several ‘pilot’ sites listed above; (4) collection of data at these pilot sites; and (5) write and submit a final report.
