#MTtimetraveler
#MTtimetraveler. Montana State Historic Preservation Office, Montana Historical Society
A website for the Montana State Historic Preservation Office's #MTtimetraveler program. "Trips in Montana seemingly transport travelers through history - from ancient cultural landscapes to Modernist urban edifices. Whether hiking through Medicine Rocks State Park or taking in a show at Anaconda's Washoe Theater, we encounter our heritage at every turn. Help us celebrate and identify places across the state that are important to you! This summer, we invite you to share your photographs of Montana's places - and become a #MTtimetraveler. Instructions There are two ways to submit photos: Instagram and email. Instagram users please use the hashtag #MTtimetraveler when you post photos. For those without a public Instagram account, or for those using email, simply send your photos to mtshpo@mt.gov. Include the photographer's name and the property/place name. If you like, share with us why the place is important to you worthy of preservation! Photos may be used in the State Historic Preservation Plan and featured on our website!" Project funding was provided in part by a Historic Preservation Fund grant to the Montana State Historic Preservation Office, Montana Historical Society, administered by State, Tribal, Local Plans and Grants division, National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior (grant number P17AF00012).
