Historic Structures Report, Section 1-F: The Napier House

Smith RE. 1949. Historic Structures Report, Section 1-F: The Napier House. Historic Structure Report. U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service

This Historic Structures Report concerns the Napier House, located in the vicinity of Napier, Lewis County, Tennessee, standing about sixty-five feet from the proposed center line of the Natchez Trace Parkway. The building is expected to be included in the acquisition of the right-of-way for Section 1-F. Although not oriented ideally in relation to the motor road, the building and surrounding grounds present a country house atmosphere, not too frequently seen in that region of the parkway, which warrants its consideration as a point of interest along the parkway.
