This report describes the results of a visitor use study conducted at Wind Cave National Park from August 17 through August 26, 2018. The study was designed to meet two different objectives. The first objective was to survey recreational visitors, obtaining information such as activities pursued during the visit, amount of money spent in the local area, and demographic characteristics. The second objective was to characterize non-recreational visitation to the park, including the overall percentage of non-recreational visitors and the origins/destinations of those visitors.
