St. Peter's Episcopal Church Structure Assessment

Latreille G. 2019. St. Peter's Episcopal Church Structure Assessment. Office of History and Archaeology, Alaska Department of Natural Resources; BBFM Engineers Inc.

Executive Summary: "...I [Greg Latreille] visited St. Peter's Episcopal Church, located at 239 2nd Avenue in Seward, Alaska, on October 24, 2018 to perform a structural assessment of the building structure. I found the structure to be in generally very good condition. My recommendations are primarily to continue maintenance of the exterior envelope of the building in order to keep water out of the structure and to repair various non-structural elements and features to achieve this. I did not encounter any primary or secondary structural elements that require repair or replacement during my visit." Project funding was provided in part by a Historic Preservation Fund grant to the Office of History and Archaeology, Alaska Department of Natural Resources, administered by the State, Tribal, Local Plans and Grants division, National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior (grant number P18AF00008).
