The mission of this Report is to guide the renewal and enhancement of the White House Rose Garden. Informed by physical, cultural, and historical precedents as well as the first families who have shaped the Rose Garden, the research and analysis contained within this Report serve as a framework on which to curate an outdoor experience transcendent of each administration. The White House Rose Garden Landscape Report promotes design solutions that are steeped in scholarship and intellect, and are reflective of meticulous attention to narrative, intent, and detail. This Report advocates for a timeless garden, befitting of its address and the people of The United States of America.
