Located in the Fisherman's Wharf neighborhood, San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park offers visitors the sights, sounds, smells and stories of Pacific Coast maritime history. The Park includes a fleet of historic ships, a Visitor Center, Maritime Museum, Maritime Research Center, and Aquatic Park Historic District. At the request of U. S. Department of Interior, National Parks, Service, the undersigned Surveyors did, on 2 through January 1978, attend on board the captioned vessel where It was lying on drydock at Merritt Shipyard, Oakland. The purpose of the Surveyors' attendance was to determine the general condition of the vessel. The conditions found are detailed in the report.
