From the Welcome: "On behalf of the NKY Restoration Planning Committee, we welcome you to the eighth annual NKY Restoration Weekend. We are excited to offer an assortment of valuable classes for the DIYer. a professional CEU track, and a Vendor and Trades Fair. NKY Restoration is an unincorporated association of individuals who represent businesses, non-profit organizations, and local Historic Preservation offices in Northern Kentucky and the Greater Cincinnati region. Our primary purpose is to organize and direct the annual NKY Restoration Weekend and provide supplemental social media context and programming. The Guiding Principles of NKY Restoration are: - Promote historic preservation, rehabilitation, and sustainability in the NKY River Cities and region - Educate participants on proper methods and appropriate use of materials for historic buildings - Increase the exposure and promote the use of local small businesses, building trades, and craftspeople Through our partners, vendors, grants, and generous sponsors we have been able to bring this weekend to you free of charge. We strive to make more accessible the best practices in historic rehabilitation for being a knowledgeable historic building owner."
