Historic Building Report: General Philip Schuyler House

Luzader JF. 1957. Historic Building Report: General Philip Schuyler House. Historic Structure Report. U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service

Saratoga National Historical Park is a National Historical Park located in the Town of Stillwater in eastern New York, forty miles north of Albany. The park preserves the site of the Battles of Saratoga. This Historic Structures Report concerns the General Philip Schuyler House, building no. 15. The structure is proposed for exhibition as an example of a Revolutionary period country house, the preservation and interpretation being justified because of its association with General Philip Schuyler, a prominent political, economic, and military figure of the early days of the Republic.
