A series of videos documenting the Douglas County Cemetery Conservation Workshop. The first video is the classroom session in which Corey Thomas, a cemetery preservation specialist, describes the best maintenance practices and hazards in cemeteries. The second video is a hands-on experience in a local cemetery where the participants tried out repairs for common cemetery marker issues. Project funding was provided in part by a Historic Preservation Fund grant to the Kansas Historical Society administered by the State, Tribal, Local Plans and Grants division, National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior.
