Sontheimer WM and Curry Company. 1976. Proposed Procedures for the Exterior Restoration of the Ahwahnee Hotel. Historic Structure Report. U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service
Yosemite National Park is an American national park located in the western Sierra Nevada of Central California, bounded on the southeast by Sierra National Forest and on the northwest by Stanislaus National Forest. It is the purpose of the following material to provide an outline of the restoration procedures which shall be undertaken during this program of general renewal of the Ahwahnee Hotel, Yosemite National Park. The history of this notable structure has been amply documented; thus, we address ourselves to the tasks at hand: the structure's present condition and our proposals for corrections to those problem areas, upon the exterior, requiring attention. The Ahwahnee Hotel has been nominated for listing in the National Register of Historic Places.
