This report concerns the Manufacturers Records Building and the McCawley Building. The report details the investigation prior to the proposed demolition of the buildings. No evidence was found to indicate that events have occurred at either of these two buildings under study that have made significant contributions to the broad cultural, political, economic, military, or social history of the Nation or the area. Nor have these structures been associated with individuals of national fame or significance to the history of the United States. The architectural characteristics of these buildings are not especially unusual for the period they represent.
