This study found that bats are present at ponds that treat acid mine drainage (AMD) within the Flight 93 Memorial Grounds and the AudioMoth 1.0.0 capable of recording bat calls for auto-identification with an off-the-shelf classifier software. Based on auto-identified calls from the Wildlife Acoustics SM4BAT-ZC and AudioMoth 1.0.0 detectors it is inferred that six bat species were present during this study across all passive treatment ponds and five were present at the natural pond.
