PLOTS database, version 4.0
Colorado Natural Heritage Program. PLOTS database, version 4.0
This database was created by the Colorado Natural Heritage Program for the National Park Service. PLOTS v4.0 is designed to store vegetation mapping field data (species abundance and cover data per plot, plot classification, and Accuracy Assessment point data). PLOTSv4.0 is a Microsoft Access database. You must have Microsoft Access 2007 or later installed on your computer in order to use it. This release was edited, compiled, and tested in Access 2010 (32-bit) and should be compatible with Access 2007-2013. A major structural change was made in this version, so that classification plot records and accuracy assessment plot records are now in the same tables (tPlots and tPlotEvents). This allows species data to be entered for AA plots, but does mean that the identifying codes for both kinds of plots must be unique (no duplicate codes) within the database. It also means that previous versions of Plots (v3.x and earlier) are not compatible with version 4 and above.
