This is the Architectural Data Section of a Historic Structure Report for the Ebenezer Fiske House at Minute Man National Historical Park. When the report was prepared, the structure was no longer standing. According to Martin Bashian of Lexington, Massachusetts, it was dismantled in 1955-56. The Fiske House was built prior to 1775. It played a role in the events of April 19, 1775 marking the start of the Revolutionary War. The only visible remains of the former farm were the stone foundations of the house and a barn, together with the remnants of stone walls. The report recommended that the house material in possession of Mr. Bashian be reviewed and that attempts be made to record his recollections of the house prior to his dismantling it. It is also recommended that an archeological survey be conducted to clear the cellar, and the walls should be stabilized when the project is completed. The report includes known history, existing conditions, recommendations, and illustrations.
