Natural Bridges National Monument in southeastern Utah was established for the preservation and protection of three extraordinary natural bridges and surrounding prehistoric ruins. Several cliff dwellings in canyon bottoms had been stabilized and were visited regularly, but the mesa top sites were not part of interpretation. The NPS evacuated, stabilized, and interpreted one such site along the park's loop drive, documented in this report. The archeological work was performed by Nickens and Associates. The work in that contract included excavation, prestabilization for architectural documentation, stabilization, artifact analysis and interpretation, reporting on the work as part of a technical report, preparing a separate report for visitors, working with park staff during preparation of interpretive signing, and preparing a slide show documenting the work at the site. This report fulfills the requirement to report on the work as part of the Year 4 technical report. Plans for the site included construction of a handicapped accessible trail, installation of an on-site interpretive sign, development of a museum display at the Visitor Center, and presentation of an interpretive slide show.
