From the Program Overview: "The Fourth Annual EOY Summary Report of FY'13 HPF Grant Award summarizes the progress of programs, projects and activities implemented in the third year of the grant period from October 1, 2015 to September 30, 2016. This report summarizes those projects extended to September 30, 2016. The Fourth EOY Summary Report for this same year grant period is submitted on or before December 30, 2016 to the grantor of HPF Grant, US National Park Service. ...The Bureau has objectives that are specified in the Workplan to continue the implementation of established programs including the Administration and Planning, Survey, Inventory and Project Review/Archaeology, Oral History and Ethnography Program, Palau Register Section, and Public Education. In implementing the approved programs and projects, Bureau continued to strengthen the education and awareness of the public on the importance and need to preserve and protect the historical and cultural resources of Palau as well as Palau's cultural heritage for the benefit of our present and future generations, as well as our economical and sustainable development." Project funding was provided in part by a Historic Preservation Fund grant to the Palau Historic Preservation Office, Bureau of Cultural & Historical Preservation, Ministry of Community and Cultural Affairs, administered by the Pacific West Regional Office, National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior (grant number P14AF00120).
