From the Program Overview: "The First Annual EOY Summary Report of FY'16 HPF Grant Award summarizes the progress of programs, projects and activities implemented in the first year of the grant period from October 1, 2015 to September 30, 2016. The Second EOY Summary Report for this fiscal year will be submitted on or before December 31, 2017 to the grantor of HPF Grant, US National Park Service. ...Bureau has objectives that are specified in the [attached] Workplan to continue the implementation of established programs including the Administration and Planning, Survey and Inventory/Archaeology, Oral History and Ethnography, Palau Register of Historic Places, and Public Education. In implementing the approved programs and projects, Bureau continued to strengthen the education and awareness of the public n the importance and need to preserve and protect the historical and cultural resources of Palau as well as Palau's cultural heritage for the benefit of our present and future generations." Project funding was provided in part by a Historic Preservation Fund grant to the Palau Historic Preservation Office, Bureau of Cultural and Historical Preservation, Ministry of Community and Cultural Affairs, administered by the Pacific West Regional Office, U.S. Department of the Interior (grant number P16AF00200).
