Summary of Achievements: "The inventory assessment project was aimed to conduct the system in place within the Bureau to: 1) determine the current condition; 2) determine if it meets the Secretary of the Interior's Standards; 3) develop in a timetable format what is necessary to bring the State Inventory into compliance and up-to-date; 4) produce data that can be readily integrated into Palau's Historic Preservation Planning Process; and 5) maintain an inventory system of properties surveyed that includes surveys reports, inventory forms, and research designs. The project was extended several times since 2012. The project finally got implemented in 2014. The final report for this phase of the project is sent with this EOY report." Project funding was provided in part by a Historic Preservation Fund grant to the Palau Historic Preservation Office, Bureau of Cultural and Historical Preservation, Ministry of Community and Cultural Affairs, administered by the Pacific West Regional Office, National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior (grant number 70-12-41964).
