SQF Castle and Rattlesnake Fires Burned Area Emergency Response (BAER) Plan, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The purposes of BAER plans are to determine the needs and prescribe treatments to minimize threats to life or property or to stabilize and prevent further unacceptable degradation to natural and cultural resources resulting from the effects of a fire. Natural recovery is preferable.
