Alice F. Echelle and I visited West Ship Island on 08/16/2019 and collected 21 specimens of Menidia with a small seine. The collections were made from isolated pools on the west end of the island. The following specimens were collected and placed in 95% ethanol for subsequent genetics analysis: M. peninsulae 5 specimens M. beryllina 3 specimens M. clarkhubbsi and M. beryllina x peninsulae hybrids 13 specimens.
