From the Program Overview: "The Second Annual EOY Summary Report of FY'13 HPF Grant Award summarizes the progress of programs, projects and activities implemented in the first year of the grant period from October 1, 2012 to September 30, 2014. The Second EOY Summary Report for this same year grant period is submitted on or before December 30, 2014 to the grantor of HPF Grant, US National Park Service. ...The Bureau has objectives that are specified in the Workplan to continue the implementation of established programs including the Administration and Planning, Survey and Inventory and Project Review/Archaeology, Oral History and Ethnography Program, Palau Register Section, and Public Education....In implementing the approved programs and projects, Bureau continued to strengthen the education and awareness of the public n the importance and need to preserve and protect the historical and cultural resources of Palau as well as Palau's cultural heritage for the benefit of our present and future generations, as well as our economic development..." Project funding was provided in part by a Historic Preservation Fund grant to the Palau Historic Preservation Program, Bureau of Arts and Culture, Ministry of Community and Cultural Affairs, administered by the Pacific West Regional Office, National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior (grant number 70-13-51964).
