Preface: "This 2015 calendar was published by the Bureau of Cultural & Historical Preservation/Historic Preservation Program under the Ministry of Community and Cultural Affairs. The information contain herein is abstract from Rechuodel Volume I by the Society of Historians (1995). The images in the Calendar are the result of work that has been done by BAC and also by other researchers within Palau. The goal is to promote and educate the public about the traditional calendar year of Palau and how it relates to the modern calendar. It also promotes preservation and protection of Cultural and Historical Heritage of the Republic of Palau." Project funding was provided in part by a Historical Preservation Fund grant to the Palau Historic Preservation Office, Bureau of Cultural and Historical Preservation, Ministry of Community and Cultural Affairs, administered by the Pacific West Regional Office, National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior (grant number 70-13-51964).
