Introduction: "This End of Year Report summarizes the accomplishments and challenges of the Survey and Inventory/Archaeology Section. It provides an effort of enhancing the value to protect and preserve Palau's tangible and intangible heritage with the means of education and public awareness through the Section's role and responsibility to implement the standard operations for the Project Review and Compliance to ensure that services are available to the public." Project funding was provided in part by a Historic Preservation Fund grant to the Palau Historic preservation Office, Bureau of Arts & Culture, Ministry of Community & Cultural Affairs, administered by the Pacific West Regional Office, National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior (grant number 70-13-51964).
