From the Summary of Achievements: "The nomination and registration of 10 sites per year is ambitious however, the actual human resource needed to gather information and proper paper work is absent. The significant sites proposed for FY' 08-'10 carefully evaluated by the Board. The Board conducted two official meetings on July 27 and 28, 2015 to evaluate all the nominees for inclusion of significant sites in the Palau Register of Historic Places...." Project funding was provided in part by a Historic Preservation Fund grant to the Palau Historic Preservation Office, Bureau of Cultural and Historical Preservation, Ministry of Community and Cultural Affairs, administered by the Pacific West Regional Office, National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior (grant number 70-12-41964).
