The following species are protected by Vermont’s Endangered Species Law (10 V.S.A. Chap. 123). There are 69 state-endangered and 94 state-threatened plants in Vermont. Those with a federal status of Threatened or Endangered are also protected by the Federal Endangered Species Act (P.L. 93-205). Note that not all synonyms are included. State designations are defined on the last page.
