From the Report: "Several measurements of the bai platform were taken to compare the archaeological report by BAC to make sure all the features were in situ. The exposed notable features of the iliud were cleaned from vines growing beside them. The Iliud er a Mesiual is an important archaeological feature within Beluu er a Tmachel, Ngchesar State. On March to April 2011, the community of Ngersuul hamlet began the rehabilitation project which involved the clearing of vegetation covering the stone platform and restore fallen and loose stones that is part of the feature. The trail leading to the site was cleared for visitor-friendly accessibility thus providing a natural esthetic view of the terrain and landscape and beautiful fauna. On-going hopes for the state through the rehabilitation project of the Iliud er a Mesiual will draw the attention to the state for eco-cultural tours and adventure. This rehabilitation project displayed a positive response from the Ngchesar community to utilize cultural heritage sites as a means of economical growth and stability to the state government. In addition, the involvement of the community and youth actively participating in the actual project echoes the oral histories of these places and the significance of these places to the people of Ngchesar state as a whole. These activities promote a sense of well-being and ownership of one's resources and identity. The Governor and the community of Ngchesar State feels fortunate to have ne of their precious sites rehabilitated and have access for visitors. They believe that this is one way for others to learn about their state's history and thank the National Park Service for their on-going support in helping small communities little by little with their financial assistance."
