The Niobrara River at the Berry Bridge near Valentine, NE had its water quality monitored during 2020. Water quality parameters were monitored on a continuous basis in a study performed at the USGS Niobrara River Sparks gage located on the Niobrara National Scenic Stretch. This monitoring was done in cooperation with the National Park Service I&M office out of Rapid City, SD. The monitoring was to assess the current status and long-term trends of water quality on the Niobrara River.
