The Niobrara River at the Pischelville Bridge near Verdel, NE had its water quality monitored during 2020. Water quality parameters were monitored on a continuous basis in a study performed at the USGS Niobrara River Verdel gage on the Missouri National Recreation River. This monitoring was done in cooperation with the National Park Service I&M office out of Rapid City, SD. This was done to assess the current status and long-term trends of water quality on the Niobrara River near the mouth
