Water Quality Evaluation for Freshwater Mussels at Fort Laramie National Historic Site

Siddons S. Water Quality Evaluation for Freshwater Mussels at Fort Laramie National Historic Site. Research Permit and Reporting System

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department evaluated water quality parameters in the Laramie River at the Fort Laramie National Historic Site in 2019. Water quality was of interest because the Wyoming Game and Fish Department intended to identify reintroduction sites for the native Plain Pocketbook mussel which has been extirpated from the North Platte River basin in Wyoming. Water quality results appeared to be in the acceptable range for Plain Pocketbook mussels.
