SOP 2.2.04 Park-wide Assessment Water and Sediment Quality Data Summary Reporting Manual—Version 2.0

Starkey EN and Wright WK. 2022. SOP 2.2.04 Park-wide Assessment Water and Sediment Quality Data Summary Reporting Manual—Version 2.0. Southeast Coast Network

The following standard operating procedure (SOP) outlines the format and general approach to developing data summary reports for the assessment of estuarine water and sediment quality. Natural Resource Data Series (NRDS) reports are intended for the timely release of basic data sets and data summaries. These reports provide managers with the status of water and sediment quality conditions and are not intended to synthesize multiple years of data and determine trends. In addition, this SOP may not cover all park specific exceptions and reporting needs. Reports for each park, published after 2016, serve as the template to generate subsequent reports. See NPS Integrated Resource Management Applications Portal to search for the latest SECN park-wide assessment reports.
