From the brochure: "The Landmarks Commission is comprised of 13 members that serve specific positions such as architect, attorney, and historian. The Commission, together with the Architectural Review Committees, oversees a design review process for all exterior alterations to individual Landmarks and properties in the Preservation Districts. The Commission also oversees the designation process well as preservation projects across Louisville Metro." Project funding was provided in part by a Historic Preservation Fund grant to the Kentucky Heritage Council administered by the State, Tribal, Local Plans and Grants division, National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior.
