Eastern black rail occupancy surveys were conducted at Bent's Old Fort on 4/20/2020, 5/5/2020, 5/18/20, and 6/2/2020. Surveys consisted of 10 minute call-broadcast point counts. Black rails were detected at least once at each of the 5 points established around the marsh. The highest detection occurred the night of 6/2/2020 when at least six different black rails were detected.
